Meet an amazing family of bluegrass and classic country musicians from that makes up the Black River Pickers. The band originally formed in 2002 in Harrell’s, NC. The put their own unique spin on bluegrass music and make it smooth, they play a range of older classic country music, and they incorporate a little gospel into their mix. What makes them special is that every member of this harmonious band is included in the vocals and gets their voice heard. Meet the musicians:
Wade Blackburn – plays the mandolin and does vocals
Lola Blackburn – plays the guitar and does vocals
Michael Blackburn – plays the bass and does vocals
Julie Craft – plays the mandolin and does vocals
Brad Barbee – plays the banjo and does vocals
Bobby Wright – plays the dobro and does vocals
